First 3D-Printed Pill Gets FDA Approval

3D Printing

A new pill that is used to control epileptic seizures has just been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), making the first government-approved drug created on a 3D printer.
3D-printed pills can be customized for patients in order for them to only have to take one pill that fulfills several needs. The pill is also easier to consume.
